About Me!
Hi I’m Katie! Professional Skydiver turned Software Engineer 🤓
I’ve been skydiving for 10 years. I have over 5,000 skydives, hold multiple instructional ratings, broken two world records, placed at the US Nationals, and have had a heck of a good time. My skydiving career has taken me all over the world and given me some pretty amazing experiences. It taught me to stay curious, keep exploring, and to enjoy the struggle.
I started dabbling with coding during my travels and really fell in love with everything it has to offer. There is so much to learn and so much potential to build something positive for the world. I love solving puzzles and I get to do that on the daily with software engineering. Transitioning into this new career of perpetual confusion and eternal learning has been incredibly rewarding and Im so excited to see where this journey takes me.
